The 1101 has been a very profitable for Nokia as it has proved really popular with customers. Considering it is an entry level phone the 1101 is functional, if a little basic compared to some of the more popular mobile handsets. The overall design of this handset is average but practical.

In terms of the all important battery cell usage the Nokia 1101 has 3:00 talk time and 300 hrs standby time. The battery cell supplied with the 1101 is a Li-Ion 850 mAh (BL-5C). Weighing in at 86 g, this handset is pretty light. The Nokia 1101 is only available in Xpress-on covers. Compared to competitors mobile phones the Nokia 1101 is one of the smallest phones available. The screen is a Monochrome graphic. The 1101 has support for 2G GSM 900 / 1800 . If you use the Internet on the move, you will be pleased to know a WAP 1.1, compatible browser is included. The available ring-tones enabled on the 1101 are Monophonic on top of which is a vibration alert. The following additional features are also present on the Nokia 1101:
