Getting the Most out of Scrapbooking
Just like all artwork projects, there are no hard and fast conventions for scrapbooking (that’s the great thing about making a scrapbook!). All the same, if you are a total newbie, being heedful of some popular guidelines is handy:-
Think about the theme of your scrapbooking project. The subject should prescribe the style and presentation of the scrapbook. For example, if you are making an album to celebrate your marriage ceremony or a child being born, then you may choose embellishments, papers and colours that create one united theme around that subject.
OK, now a style has been picked out, consider the materials you wish to apply. For instance, you may wish to use docrafts scrapbooking in the scrapbook.
An effective tip to defining the subject of your page is to name it. Employ die cut letters or stickers to write the title, or even use a computer and print out the title.
If you’re writing a small note on the page, write it out on some scrap paper first to make sure the wording is correct.
There’s no stringent convention about how many pictures to stick on any one page, but they should have some type of relation to your topic. Choose a mixture of photographs that you can apply as you design the page.
The most important thing is that you enjoy the process of making your scrapbook. Making a scrapbook is a past-time that many people enjoy and you’ll discover there’s a big internet community willing to share their tips and help you in your scrapbooking endeavours.
